An Advent Retreat to kick off Christmas at the Monastery

In our culture of speed, instant gratification and efficiency, how do we as seekers of God’s presence find meaning in patient waiting?

What do the Gospels and The Rule of Benedict have to teach us about the wonder of waiting? These reflections will be addressed as we prepare for the meaningful moments of Advent.

The retreat is held at St. Paul's Monastery. In-person retreatants ($25 each) and Online retreatants ($15 each) share in time of presentation, reflection, and discussion. For any in-person retreatants wishing to stay for midday prayer and lunch the cost is $35 ($25 for the retreat and an additional $10 to cover the lunch).

Please consider an additional donation today! All money raised through this retreat benefits the Benedictine Center--a ministry of the Sisters of St. Paul's Monastery. Every dollar raised increases the Center's capacity to welcome every guest as Christ, to add vital programming, and to staff the ministry well.
